Bermuda Bay

Posted: Tuesday, September 24th, 2013 @ 5:54 pm in Projects | No Comments »

I’m catching up on some older cards that might have cased layouts.  I’m so happy to have Bermuda Bay back!  The first card shows a couple different things you can do with the hexagon punch.  Both cards feature a large background stamp – the chevron and butterfly, embossed in white.

A Study in Case

I saw a similar layout to this with products from a different company, and recreated it with all Stampin’ Up!  I created circles by stamping the Oh, Hello oval and then punching.  I added a different spin to the layout with the Mosaic Madness and Sassy Salutations stamp sets. All products can be purchased at www.kwstamps.stampinup.net

I haven’t made a banner yet with the Stampin’ Up! Simply Created Banner Kit (Holiday Catalog).  Instead I have been making monogram cards with the stencils.  What fun!  The first one is CASEd from our demonstrator magazine.  I used our spritzers with alcohol and reinker (about 20 drops for a full bottle – adjust for […]

Magnificent Maple Critter

What did the fox say?  I can’t decide if it’s a coyote, wolf or a fox, but I adapted this kid’s craft made with real maple leaves to a card using the Stampin’ Up! Magnificent Maple Stamp.  The ears, nose and eye pieces are all from the Owl Builder punch.  The sentiment is from Sassy Salutations.  All products […]
