Posted: Tuesday, March 24th, 2009 @ 8:52 am in Projects | 27 Comments »

This card has been a big hit around Erie ever since I showed it at our last demonstrator meeting.  So I decided to give you a step by step tutorial.  I adapted the measurements to fit a medium sized (invitation) envelope so it is easy to mail.  You can use either your personal trimmer or […]

I love this Symphony wheel.  It will be great for my Jr. Philharmonic scrapbook pages.  Here are a couple quick cards.

I promised some new cards.  The top one uses the SU Pretties kit with the flower and half pearl.  Inside the folded Top Note die is a pocket for a gift card.  The second card uses reverse masking with the wide oval punch to make the egg.  I love the organza ribbon.  Don’t forget that […]

Here are the details I promised: The demonstrator starter kit is 15% off in March plus you get an additional free stamp set of any price.  The catch is…the paperwork MUST be RECEIVED by Stampin’ Up! (in Utah) by March 31.  You cannot sign up online with the 3 payment plan.  So if you are even […]

A Tease of Spring

Posted: Monday, March 9th, 2009 @ 10:53 am in Projects | No Comments »

We have had a springy week, but I’m sure the cold weather will be back for another visit.  I made these cute accordian flowers out of the free Sale-A-Bration designer paper (Delicate Dots).   The large one is a 2″ strip and the small ones a 1″ strip.   Just accordian fold about every 1/4 inch and […]

We always have a great time at our area meetings.  We share lots of good ideas, do a card swap and some make and takes.  Here are the make and takes from Saturdays meeting.  Pam brought the first one – using the Branch out stamp set.  I’m going to have to add that set to […]

Easy Big Shot Card

Posted: Sunday, March 8th, 2009 @ 7:03 pm in Projects | No Comments »

You can’t get much easier than this simple card.  I used the Circles #2 and Little Leaves die.  And a bit of scallop punched border with the Thank you Kindly Set.

Wedding Card

The free SAB set Congrats is great for all the weddings and new babies in your future.  This card was inspired by another blog – I believe it was Dawns.  I used the Birds and Blooms die, the Heart to Heart punch, Tea Party DSP, Eyelet Border punch and the new Organza Ribbon.

St. Patrick’s Day soon

Posted: Friday, March 6th, 2009 @ 6:57 pm in Projects | No Comments »

I was trying to come up with a St. Patrick’s Day card using free products from Sale-A-Bration.  How did I do?  I used Polka Dot Punches and Delicate Dots DSP.  I also used By Definition which is the most expensive stamp set in the catalog.  SAB is the best time to get this set and […]
