It’s busy days around my place – visiting family, cleaning and sorting for the big garage sale, and of course devouring the new catalog!  Here’s a couple cards I made a while back with a new stamp set – Double-line Doodles.

Trading Cards

Trading cards are such fun to make.  Here are a few that I worked on this week using the new stamp sets.   We are getting ready for tomorrow’s big neighborhood garage sale so I haven’t had much time to stamp.  I think these will be great for convention. – –

This new stamp set is a real winner.  I love how this card looks with the Almost Amethyst swirls and white embossed flowers.  A bit of white narrow organdy ribbon sets the tone for the  simple but elegant project.   I’m thinking of using this card as a swap for the SCS dinner at Convention.  Do you think I can […]

Tired of cutting out petals?  Then this quick and easy technique is for you.  1.  Punch a 3/4 inch circle from a sticky note. 2.  Place circle in the center of a 4 inch square of Whisper White cardstock. 3.  Stamp 7 outline petals from Pick a Petal around the circle.  If you mount the point […]

Pick a Petal

I’m finding this set a little difficult to work with.  The build a flower idea is great, but I’m not sure if I like my first  cards.  I did find some fun things to play with: 1. The flower centers make a nice background. 2. You can punch out a 1 1/4 or 3/4 inch circle to use […]

Somehow the Stamping top 50 lost my website, so I am back up in the 400’s.  But it should only take me a few months to get back to where I was before – so please keep visiting!  I got my new sets all mounted and had a few minutes to play.  I ordered an assortment […]

Here’s a quick thank you note that I designed for my daughter to use for graduation gifts.  The wheel is from the new All About Occasions Level 3 hostess set – I cut out part of the image.  The graduation cap is from the new Year after Year set.

My blog was down for a few days, but I’m back up now.  I will have to repost some photos that were lost.  I’ve been busy the last few days with my graduate – tonight was Baccalaureate, tomorrow is graduation at the Civic Center.  It’s a class of 568 – so it could be a […]

All I have seen

Here is another favorite retiring set – All I have seen.  Here I show 2 cards with the same quick and easy layout.  The first features the “dirty stamping” technique where you ink up with a lighter color, then add a darker color with marker before stamping.  The second features gold heat embossing and the […]
