Valentine’s Day Cards and Treat Box

Since it’s prime crafting time for Valentine’s Day projects I want to share a few with you today. We are sad in the Stampin’ Up! world that the Country Bouquet Punch is not available until April, but I show a few workarounds in THIS VIDEO.

The #simplestamping cards above make use of Stampin’ Up! Notecards & Envelopes and the Country Bouquet stamp set. It’s so easy to get two colors with 2 step stamping. I stamped the leaves in Mint Macaron and the hearts/flowers in Sweet Sorbet.

Try a fun technique with the heart from Country Bouquet. I show how to do the Faux Tile Technique above in THIS VIDEO. The Love die cut is from the Love for You bundle.

The Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper (and entire Suite) coordinates beautifully together. Here I cut my paper into 4×6 pieces and then trimmed again to 5-1/4. The leftover strips were flipped over, then embellished with a tag and ribbon knots.

I had some extra bits of the bicycle pattern, so I cut it down into strips for this card. The sentiment is from the Love for You bundle again. A few sequins from the Suite finish this easy card. These pre-cut and scored card bases are no longer available – they were a Paper Pumpkin add-on. BUT…I have some left and am sending a few as thank you gifts for ONLINE ORDERS this month.

I made a quick belly band for this Envelope Treat Box. The hearts were punched, but you can fussy cut the hearts from the Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper or use the Heart Punch Pack from the Annual Catalog. And of course add a sequin.

I hope you enjoyed these Valentine ideas. Remember, it’s SALE-A-BRATION, so you get freebies in January and February from Stampin’ Up! for SHOPPING and for JOINING.

Happy crafting,

Kim Wilson
