Ways to Use your Free Designer Paper

Last week I showed how to use the free Dainty Flowers SALE-a-bration paper as a background for the Beautifully Happy stamp set. Today I started with the sheet that cuts beautifully into 6 cards.

Cut into 4×6 pieces and then cut off the top to make 4 x 5-1/4. Mount on a card base and use the extra strip to add a sentiment, or stamp directly on the Designer Paper.

And why not add a cute bunny from the Easter Bunny bundle (colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers)?

It’s easy to cut down the oval and strips from this piece to fit a card. Mount onto a colored cardstock mat and then onto a Thick Basic White card (bottom center and right card below).

I found it just as easy to fussy cut around the flower oval and then mount it onto a 4×5-1/4″ piece of the Dainty Flowers paper. I love how the backs of each piece have a nice pattern for this. I needed thank you cards so used the sentiment from the free Thanks a Bunch stamp set.

Did you know that the free Dainty Flowers Designer paper has a matching stamp set in the Stampin’ Up! new Mini Catalog? It’s called Dainty Delight and comes in a bundle with coordinating dies. Here I did some #simplestamping and colored with Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen. I like to keep a bunch of the Basic White notecards on hand for easy cards like those above.

The Dainty Delight dies are so delicate and sweet! I recommend using the Adhesive sheets on your cardstock scraps to adhere these fine die cuts.

I added in the Something Fancy bundle for these 2 cards, again using the Dainty Flowers paper as the background and the Dainty Delight dies to cut out the stamped flowers.

The Something Fancy sentiments also fit perfectly into the flower ovals of the Dainty Flowers Paper.

I think you will agree that I got some mileage out of my Dainty Delight Designer Series Paper this week. Click on the thumbnails below to see the supporting products that I used on all these cards.

I used my new Mini Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine for the die cutting on these projects. There is an awesome JOIN special during Sale-A-Bration this year, so check it out HERE and get your very own!

Happy crafting,

Kim Wilson
