Catalog Kickoff

It’s time to kick off a new Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog and Sale-A-Bration (SAB)!

I made this pop-up card with the free SAB Darling Donkeys stamp set.  This cute critter is perfect to kick off the new year!  I’ll be showing you how to make this card pop during my kickoff event on Friday January 8.  My Virtual Kickoff will happen all day in my private Facebook group here.  We’ll have GAMES, PROJECTS, VIDEOS and PRIZES!  If you miss the main event, all of the content will be stored there in the group in UNIT 10.  Or if you are not on Facebook, I’ll be sharing photos here on my blog throughout the 2 months of Sale-A-Bration.

I sent all my recent customers a packet of catalogs and other goodies.  If you missed out – let me know or just check the links below:

Stampin' Up!

If you didn’t receive a packet, you can still participate!  You will just need a card base 8-1/2 x 4-1/4″ scored at 4-1/4″ plus a coordinating 4×4 piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP).   I used Flirty Flamingo and the SAB freebie Flower & Field.  I added a few punched shapes for stamping and embellishing.  (New punches – Double Oval and Kiss.  Both of these come bundled with stamp sets, so check them out.

I’m going to post the projects here a day early, for anyone that wants a head start!

1 – Decide how to divide your DSP.  I show a few options below, or try your own.  Flip some of the pieces to see both patterns.   Or keep it in one piece to make it easy.

2 – Stamp small oval with sentiment.  I show 5 different stamp sets here.  I’m sure you can find something that works.

3 –  Adhere DSP to card, small oval to larger one, and larger one to DSP.  Use dimensionals if you wish.

4 – Embellish the card inside or back with the punched lips and/or heart.

1. cut 1″ sections from side and top – stamp set – Posted for You

2. cut 1″ and 1/2″ from one side – stamp set – Itty Bitty Greetings

3. Cut on both diagonals and flip 2 pieces – stamp set Darling Donkeys

4. Cut in quarters – stamp set Oval Occasions

5. leave whole – stamp set Hearts & Kisses

Note:  I embossed the large oval with the Meadow Moments embossing folder, just like the sample on page 65 of the mini catalog.
