that cat keeps disappearing

The cat punch that is.  It keeps flying off the shelves at Stampin’ Up!  The next shipment comes in soon and all but 200 are already spoken for.  If you are still on the fence (with the cat) better get it purchased today.

Here are 2 more cards I made this week.  The layout is CASED from a card I love by Susan Campfield using the Night of Navy Ginham Ribbon.  I usually try to change up the cards that I CASE to make them my own.  But because I used a punch instead of dies in this eclipse card, the placement had to be pretty much the same as hers.  I did make a second card using the Smokey Slate gingham ribbon, sponging it with Cherry Cobbler ink.  See previous posts for more cat projects.

Today’s tips:  I have instructions on making an eclipse card in this post.  Using a dark background under the punched cat and popping it up with the thick Foam Strips are my best tips to make the eclipse effect 3D.  You can stamp first and then punch, but make sure the flowers are not too high so that they cover the cat’s face.

I recommend getting the bundle with the stamp set so you get the cat face stamp (and the bundle is 10% off too).
