Here is the last card we made at the November card class, using the Thankful Forest Friends stamp set and the Woodlands Embossing folder.  If you don’t already have this folder, get it ASAP – they are almost sold out at my website Shop.  Check out the Online Extravaganza for some Black Friday specials while you are there.

Today’s Tips:

-I made a template to punch the circles exactly where I wanted them.  I also penciled in the circles on the Very Vanilla panel so I could place the critters.

-The inside has a Thanksgiving quote that comes with the set – (a panel of vanilla and corners  rounded with the Curvy Trio Punch), but you could easily use a Happy Birthday or other sentiment with this stamp set.  In fact, the last photo shows a Christmas card.

-To cut out the arms of the bear to hold the greeting, just use an exacto knife and mat.

-The ideas for both of these cards I saw online, but changed up the colors and layouts to make them my own.  You could use other stamps in the circles, or flowers or Christmas ornaments….  And the bear could hold any number of sentiments – The Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set is perfect for this.
