Spinner cards

The new “Take a Spin” stamp set has been very popular with my clients.  Here are some fun cards I have made.

This second card is a pocket card – very easy to make.  Take a half sheet of cardstock – 4 1/4 x 11 and fold in half.  Then score and fold down one inch.  Tie a ribbon around the card to hold it together, decorate and add an insert.  I love all the occasions that are covered with this one stamp – just turn the spinner!  The patterned paper is Springtime Vintage.  The flower side of the paper is great for your mother’s day and spring cards, but it does have this pattern which is a little more masculine.  Everyone is loving the Springtime Vintage DSP and fabric, so be sure to add one or both to your list.

This next stand up card was really fun too.  It is a 4 1/4 square card with the scallop square (Big Shot die with 2 squares – use the larger) on top to reach 5 1/2″ total.  You can stamp the spinner twice (2 different colors) and layer – very cool.  I think I saw this idea on a blog somewhere.  I used the Ice Cream Parlor DSP to decorate – FREE FOR SAB at www.kwstamps.stampinup.net
