Bird Ballad 4 – Mirror Image
The Mirror image technique was a big hit at my local class yesterday. We used it to make the birds from the “Free as a Bird” stamp set face each other. It’s also easy to make water reflections with this technique.
It’s so easy – all you need is a silicone sheet and the Stamparatus. Use your grid paper to find the center of your cardstock. Position the stamp where you want the image. When you stamp the image onto the silicone sheet (multiple times for a darker image), the ink stays wet so you can pick it up on the cardstock – that becomes the reverse image. Remove the silicone sheet, flip the cardstock over and stamp again for the normal image.
Another card we made with the Bird Ballad suite was this gate fold card.
Measurements for the single (top) and for the double gate fold card (bottom) are on my CardClass pdfs for this month. I have a set of pdfs for each of these new suites: Magnolia Lane, Come Sail Away and Bird Ballad. I’ll email one to you after your purchase, or join our team and have access to several years of files.
Happy crafting,
Kim Wilson
