Sweet Suites – Part 2

I’m going to share some more about Stampin’ Up! Product Suites today. I love Suites because I can make so many fun projects with the coordinating paper and stamps and embellishments. Last time I covered several of my favorites, and now I want to talk more about Gingham Cottage from the mini catalog.

Here’s a card I made with the Cottage Wreaths bundle which is part of this Suite.

I used the Pearlized Enamel Effects (part of the suite) to make the small dots on the wreath. Here’s a quick video on how to use this fun new product. And here was my inspiration for this layout:

The above card was a swap that I received from Amy at the Stampin’ Up! Backstage Event. Swapping is one of the fun things that happen when Stampin’ Up! demonstrators get together. JOIN THE FUN

The scallop edge on her card is part of the new die set for Apple Harvest that is only available in September (see links below).

The Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper is the perfect background for this Apple Harvest card as well. I saw that another demonstrator colored this bunch of apples differently to make them oranges. Great idea!

Changing the subject (from apples to pigs) I made this darling Piggy card at a demonstrator play date at my house earlier in the summer. I used the deckle dies for simple layering and Stampin’ Blends for coloring. Little did I know that in September we would get some dies to coordinate with this set. (See links below)

Here’s a swap card from the display board at Backstage that uses the dies.

One of my favorite pieces from the Playful Piggies die set is the wagon. I can see adding apples, pumpkins and more to the cute die cut.

I hope you enjoyed these ideas. Check out the thumbnails below to see if the products are still available. And don’t forget to check out the Weekly Deals under Specials. More about Stampin’ Up! specials and some Yeti cards are in THIS POST.

Happy crafting,

Kim Wilson
