Suites are Sweet – part 1

A Tale of 2 Suites: If you like shiny, but also subtle colors like Soft Seafoam, the Splendid Day Suite by Stampin’ Up! will be just the thing for your creative endeavors.

If you are more of a bright color and bold flowers lover, then look into the Hues of Happiness Suite. I love them both, so I want to show you how to use the same layouts, with different products, for a whole different look.

We used Hues of Happiness in a recent Card Class.

And I recreated all the cards using the Splendid Day Suite too!

This was our fun fold card.

This was our technique card – a watercolor wash using Shimmery White Cardstock and ink (left) or Stampin’ Blends markers (right).

And this was our favorite layout card, I CASE’d it right from the catalog page for Hues of Happiness. I heat embossed the sentiments – white (left) and copper (right).

My customer and team members have free access to the pdfs for all my monthly Card Classes. I think we are up to 29 different classes! Here’s the next one using the Gingham Cottage Suite:

Kits with all the consumables and instructions are available in the US for $15 (includes shipping) while supplies last. Please contact me if you would like to purchase the September kit. Or you can purchase the Cottage Wreaths bundle from my store by September 22 and get the class kit for FREE. If you purchase the bundle before October 1, 2022 be sure to add a pack of iridescent pearls and they will show in your cart as FREE.

And while we are on the subject of Stampin’ Up! Suites, here’s an inexpensive add-on for you to make some fun gifts for the holiday season: Kraft Note Cards and Envelopes. They come as a set of 20 with a giftable box!

Here I decorated my box and cards using the Spendid Day Suite. Don’t you love the shiny paper? But the #simplestamping card on top is quite nice too.

And here are some cards with the Gingham Cottage Suite. Some cards use the gorgeous paper. And again I did some with #simplestamping

Here are a few photos to help you assemble the Kraft box:

The box is nice and sturdy and so fun to decorate. And if you are catching this post before September 7, the Kraft Note Cards and Envelopes are part of the Weekly Deals by Stampin’ Up! along with the Splendid Day Designer Series Paper that I used above.

I hope these projects give you some great crafting ideas of your own. I love to share my projects and also appreciate hearing from you.
