Sweetest Cherries

It’s cherry season! My daughter and I drove to North East – yes, it’s the name of a small town in northwest PA at the northeast of Erie County. We picked about 10-15 quarts of cherries from just one tree – we couldn’t stop!

Before we craft some cherry desserts this weekend, I want to share the Sweetest Cherries bundle by Stampin’ Up! I choose this bundle mainly because of the basket weave stamp which you will see me use throughout my samples. But I also love the cheerful sentiments that you can arrange in so many ways.

Above I used the basket weave to make a fun border at the bottom of these cards.

Here I stamped my berries in Blackberry Bliss to match the host Designer Series Paper that has the matching pattern.

Tip: A rectangle of vellum mutes this bright paper a bit.

I used the basket weave stamp twice on this card – first for the background and then for the kissing technique on the pot. All the products used are pictured below and you can click on the photos to see them in the store.

I love to combine my crafting hobby with other memorable moments in life – like a beautiful morning picking fruit with my daughter. I will also be using the Sweetest Cherries bundle for scrapbooking the day. I hope this inspires you too!

The July – December Minicatalog and a Summer Sale-A-Bration begins today – check them out at my store.

Happy crafting,

Kim Wilson
