I can hardly believe how many cards I have made from one package of 6×6 Designer Series Paper.   (My Pop-Up swap is in this post).   Here are some fun ideas using the leftover strips from Oh So Ombre (free during Sale-a-bration).

If you cut 4×5-1/4″ pieces to cover your card front, you will have two strips left.  Depending on which dimension you cut first, you can use the strips in different layouts.  Here are the cards I came up with, adding in images and sentiments from Hey Chick  and  Darling Donkeys.  I colored with Stampin’ Blends.

Darling Donkeys is only available for a couple more weeks during Sale-A-Bration.

TIP:  The Tulle Ribbon goes great with the Oh So Ombre paper!  The Stitched Nested Label Dies that I used in the fun fold cards above are a perfect fit for both the chickens and the donkeys and a must have for your tool collection.  ( Instructions:  Cut 1-1/4″ off the front of the card.  Score one edge of the label and adhere it under the inside paper strip).

These layouts would also be amazing with the Sale-A-bration gift for new Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators.  When you join in February, you will get 200 sheets of 6×6 paper from the next catalog!  I’d love to help you be a part of this fun community.  It’s easy to get your starter kit HERE.

BONUS:  One last card with leftover strips – this time from my fun fold card from the February Card Class.  (All pdfs and instructions are posted in my customer VIP group).

The first card on the left, made with Paper Blooms DSP (free during SAB) gave me lots of one inch strips left over.  So…
