I didn’t know Galentines Day was a thing, but it is!  February 13 is the day, but any time, is a good time, to give a little gift or send a card to a friend.

I showed you in a previous post how to make the mini Mailbox treat holders.  This time I designed some slightly larger treat bags, perfect for a lip balm or a few wrapped candies for you favorite gal friends.

Instructions:

Cut 2 pieces Designer Series Paper for sides – 2-1/2 x 2″ score both at 1/2″ on each side.

Cut 2 pieces Cardstock for front and back – 3 x 5″, score both 1″ for bottom

Stamp front and back if desired.  I used the Hearts & Kisses stamp set and coordinating Kisses Punch.

Add Tear & Tape Adhesive to the folded sides and one bottom.

Lay out all the pieces and and adhere sides to the cardstock, lining up on the score lines.  Fold over to attach the last side.

Then fold and attach the bottom.  Punch holes and attach twine (2 -12″ pieces).  You can dent in the sides at the top to gusset the bag.
