Stamping Ferns and Greenery
My July virtual Card Class is next week and I have had fun stamping ferns and greenery to prepare. The Forever Greenery Suite is my favorite in the Stampin’ Up! catalog with its lovely images, dies and paper, not to mention the fun embellishments.
I love the embossing folders for this suite, and the new In Color Just Jade. The ribbon is pretty and fun to use too.
Some #simplestamping cards – just Forever Fern stamps, ink and paper.
More #simplestamping, with a few added techniques. First card – use a post-it note mask while stamping. Second card – Add a little extra color to the leaves with your Cajun Craze watercolor pencil.
Step up your note card with some dry embossed vellum and some embellishments from the Forever Greenery Product Suite.
The laser-cut gold paper makes this card pop.
This card was a challenge. It is 2 cards, held together with the gold trim. The top card has a panel of window sheet for an extra shine. A folded bit of Garden Green paper holds in the die-cuts.
This is a fun fold, again featuring the laser-cut gold paper.
This is a little journal I covered using the Forever Greenery products. I thought the Forever Fern sentiment was appropriate for this season in my life.
Here are a couple of the inside pages. I just took some Bible verses and printouts that were saved on my computer, and die cut or punched them out. I’ll add some more verses and thoughts in my own handwriting. I hope these retired Pressed Petals journals will come back on the Stampin’ Up! Clearance Rack some day so I can get some more.
Here are a couple more Forever Greenery ideas from the Stampin’ Up! catalog.
I’ve enjoyed this grouping of Stampin’ Up! products so much. I would love for you to consider Forever Greenery for your own collection!
Happy crafting,
Kim Wilson
Remember, it’s bonus days in July at my shop.
