I can’t wait to shop the Stampin’ Up! Year-End Closeout Sale tomorrow at the online store.  It’s always sad to see the Holiday products that are retiring, but who doesn’t love a sale!

Today I’m featuring a stamp set from the Annual Catalog that is perfect both for Christmas and for all year long.  The Painted Glass set has 4 ornate sentiments appropriate for lots of occasions.   This is a versatile suite of products for your crafting arsenal.

I used a Christmas color palette for some holiday Birthdays and Thank you notes that I needed.   I colored the Graceful Glass Vellum with Blends to give vibrant color.

How about some glitter to add sparkle?

Today’s Tip:  To add a layer of glitter over a project,  ink with Versamark directly from the inkpad.  Then cover with Clear Embossing Powder mixed with glitter (formerly known as Irridescent Ice).  I used my silicone mat to protect my surface.

I tried 2 different embossing folders on the navy panel.

And the final result is stunning:
