Designer Paper Sampler
Have you seen the paper samplers that crafters have been making? The Stampin’ Up Designer Series Paper sale this month was a perfect time for me to try my hand at one. And it was so much fun!
My inspiration was from Patty Bennett – 2 outside layers (12″ and 10-1/2″ squares) from the Nature’s Poem DSP and 3″ squares for the inside. Or, you can make these in any size. Find a frame or shadowbox and it make the perfect gift! I played around with my squares and all the Nature’s Poem products until I was happy with the layout before adhering everything together. I even made a card with a leftover square and diecut.
Stampin’ Up! DSP gives you the matching colors (package back and in catalog), so it was easy to choose ink and cardstock colors for the elements of the sampler.
Today’s Tip: The matching twine comes in 4 colors. It is thick, but has 10 strands that can be separated into any number.
I combine a few strands of 3 colors for this knot:
Here are a couple more of the squares.
I hope this inspires you to try a sampler of your own with one of our beautiful Designer Series Papers. Check out the sale in my shop.
You can also score a family of 10 inkpads when you join my team in July! This is the best joining promotion I have seen in about 5 years, so don’t delay!
Happy crafting,
Kim Wilson
