I’m trying out for display board stamper for Stampin’ Up! OnStage this April in Salt Lake City.  Wish me luck!  Here are my project entries with some tips below.

Todays Tips:

-card 1:  Paper Toile is a fancier version of Paper Piecing.  The extra images are cut out and mounted with Stampin’ Dimensionals in several layers.  Curling the petals can give even more dimension.  I added gold Wink of Stella to the stamens and also splatters by tapping the brush.

-card 2:  I used a simple watercoloring technique with an Aquapainter and ink on watercolor paper on the Easter Lamb.  To step it up I added a vellum overlay stamped with the lamb and the little circles dry embossed on the back using a Stampin’ Mat and stylus.

-card 3: I used the Double Matted Frame Technique with the Oval Framelits and Birthday Blooms Designer Paper.  The little chick from Honeycomb Happiness is watercolored with an Aquapainter and inkpads on Watercolor Paper.  And I made this card just a few hours BEFORE I saw Sara’s periscope using the same stamp and paper!

-3D 1:  The Berry Basket Die cut is cute enough to stand alone.  I just added a strip of Birthday Blooms DSP with Pool Party Ribbon and a couple Punch Art designs (Bow Builder, Festive Flower Builder).

-3D 2:  This is the only project I made previously to this week.  This is the Christmas gift I made for all my downline using the It’s My Party DSP Stack, Going Global stamp set and some simple hardware pieces with our Metal Rimmed Pearls.

-Scrapbook Page:  I took a few photos yesterday- before it started snowing again!  I like to use both Project Life and traditional pages intermixed in my Project Life by Stampin’ Up! Albums.  Here I used pieces from the Memories in the Making Card Collection and Accessory Packs with the Project Life Day to Day stamp set.  I added some more Birthday Bouquet DSP, punched eggs and masked chicks from Honeycomb Happiness – can’t get enough of that cute little guy!
