For the second class card, I adapted a project demonstrated at the 2015 Stampin’ Up! Convention with the Acorny Thank You stamp set and punch.  Instead of covering the entire card front with the Into the Woods Designer Series Paper, I used a shorter piece so I could get 6 cards AND envelope flaps from one 12×12 sheet.  I used the ready made notecards and envelopes (20 for $6) so this is an economical project for multiple cards.  I like the Crumb Cake notecards even better than the Whisper White for this project.

Here are the dimensions – Cut your 12×12 into 4″strips.  Then cut 2 pieces at 3-1/2 and the last piece can be cut in half the other direction, glued to the envelope flap and trimmed.  Be sure the adhesive goes all the way to the edge so the envelope stays intact when mailed.

Here’s a tip for stamping the acorns.  Punch out a template and line up your stamps inside it.  Press down the block and they are now perfectly aligned with the punch.  I used ink spots from my Paper Pumpkin kits to easily ink up the two stamps.  Or if you are making multiples, just stamp a bunch in one color and then the other to mix and match the acorn tops and bottoms.  What a fun stamp set!  And the bundle with the punch is 15% off.  All products can be purchased at my website shop.

I also added a strip of the Subtle Stripes Satin Ribbon.  A circle punch cuts out the flower bouquet from the DSP.  I used 2 sizes of punches because the 2-1/2″ punch can’t fit for all the bunches.  The itty bitty banner framelits perfectly cuts the sentiments.
