I made up the Watercolor Winter kit (a Year-end Closeout at my SHOP) for my Christmas cards to send out this year.  It was a bit fussy with all the little letters, but fun to assemble.  One of the girls at the Watercolor and Wine class made swirls instead of stripes for one of the cards, so I gave that a try.

Today’s Tips:

-really dilute the ink with water as you watercolor.  Start on one edge and work up to give an ombre effect.

-Sponge some Early Espresso or Chocolate Chip ink on the sled to give it a more rustic look.

-I like to use glue dots to attach the sequins.  Liquid glue works too, but you get sticky fingers.
