Paper Pumpkin Bat Tutorial

I love the September Boo-tiful Bags Paper Pumpkin kit.  I have been using the stamp set and Tangerine Tango ink spot on several Halloween projects, besides the burlap treat bags that come with the kits.

Here’s the video for the cute treat bags:

And here is the bat treat holder that I made with the stamp set:

1.  Make a template from scrap paper and punch the bat shape with the wide oval punch.  Trace onto a half sheet of Basic Black Cardstock that is scored at 2-3/4 and 5-3/4″.  Use the punch or scissors to cut the bat shape on the cardstock.

2.  Use your Simply Scored tool to make some veins in the bat wings.

3.  Make a 1″ belly band and stamp with the greeting.  The stamped inside panel is 2-1/2 x 4″.

Here are a couple more bats made with the Good Greetings and Holiday Invitation stamp sets.  Thanks Barb and Kathie for the inspiration!  This truly was a CASE of a CASE of a CASE of a CASE.  Or is that a CASE to the 4th degree?

Current Paper Pumpkin subscribers can order the bag refill kits.  If you are not a subscriber, check it out HERE.
