Here are a few fun techniques to dress up your sentiments.  If you  know of any other fun sentiment techniques – add a comment.

BORDERED SENTIMENT TECHNIQUE

For this technique, just mask off the strip where you want to stamp the sentiment.  Stamp your large image (or several smaller ones) over the mask.  Press hard to avoide shadowing next to the mask.  If desired, trace the mask on both sides with a marker.  Remove the mask and stamp your sentiment.  Easy peasy.

SPOTLIGHT SENTIMENT TECHNIQUE

For this one, just stamp your sentiment twice – once on the card and once on a scrap of cardstock.  Cut out a portion of the sentiment from the scrap and adhere.  Again, a very easy technique.

OUTLINED SENTIMENT TECHNIQUE

Place your images and sentiment in one or two corners.  Measure from the outside edges and marker an outline using a ruler, skipping the places where you have stamping.  I have made a chipboard template for this layout, so I can make it now without the tedious measuring.

Stamp sets used for these cards:  Wildflower Meadow, Happy Day, Field Flowers
