My Digital Studio – Part 1 – How to get your free trial

The My Digital Studio (MDS) software is a multi-purpose digital design program.   You can make albums, cards, calendars, tags, banners and more.    In this post I will describe how to download a free 30 day trial of MDS Express (the complete program, but less digital content than the full version).  Over the next couple of days I will show some projects I have made with  MDS.   I have found the program easy to use – it is set up like Microsoft WORD in terms of files and simple commands.  You can then add photos, papers, colors, embellishments and stamps all with the click of a mouse.  And it sure takes up a lot less space – both while creating and the final product!

Q: What digital content comes with the My Digital Studio Express Trial?
A: My Digital Studio Express includes one stamp brush set, 12 Designer Series Paper patterns, 81 embellishments, 26 punches, and 5 designer templates.  Be sure to check out the Sweet Details  photobook template – 24 beautiful pages – just add photos.  You can access it under Photobooks& Pages, 11x 8-1/2, Designer.   I will show you a book that I printed later this week.

Q: How do my I order the My Digital Studio Express Trial?
A: You can order My Digital Studio Express through my online store. You can order the free trial by itself, or you can add it to an order with stamping supplies or digital downloads. If the My Digital Studio Express Trial is the only item you order, you will not be asked for any credit card or payment information. If you are a new customer, you will need to create an account.

Q: How do I access the free trial?
A: Go to my online store and click on SHOP NOW.  Click on the MDS logo at the top right (or use order #129600 in the search box).  Continue the check out procedure and the download will be available in your account under Digital Downloads.  Save the file to your computer and then install, by selecting it and RUN.  More tomorrow!

There is also a whole website including gallery, forums and videos dedicated to MDS:
