Trifold Pocket Card

Before I share my Valentines themed swaps, I want to show this cool pocket card that was presented by Richard Garay at Leadership.  First – here is my version of the card.  I used the “I Love Love”  Jumbo wheel to wheel the Pretty in Pink cardstock with Real Red ink before I began scoring and cutting.   I used a little adhesive at the bottom, but left the sides open, because the ribbon will hold them closed.

Accessories:   Round Tab punch, jewelry punch, small heart punch, red satin ribbon, linen thread, glimmer paper.

My dimensions for the inserts:

DSP for center -3 1/2 x 2

base 1 – 3 x 3 1/4, white 2 3/4 x 3

base 2 – 3 x 4 1/2, white 2 3/4 x 4 1/4

The outside piece is 10 1/2 by 8 1/2 and you can get 2 cards from it.  I will give the link to Richard’s template below, but basically you score looking landscape at 3 1/2 and 7.  Then flip and cut from bottom up to bottom score at 5 1/2, between 2 middle scores at 4 1/4 and from top score to top of page at 3″.  Here are Richard’s samples from the display board  below and the link to his template is HERE

Notice the cute thead bobbin.  It is made of the round Tab punch trimmed.  Add some linen thread and embosslet buttons.
