Today’s Anniversary Special is 10% off Classy Brass Templates (p.187).  My anniversary specials are good until Sept 1 and can be combined.   These templates are not only great for dry embossing, but they also have paper piercing guides.  On today’s card I used the Pick a Petal Template which matches the Pick a Petal Stamp Set as well as the Scallop Punch.  If you can see in the photo, there is a dry embossed scallop that is slightly smaller than the punched one.  And the template gives a large circle of piercing holes that you can see at the top and bottom of the card.  The stamp set used was “It’s all good” stamped in Really Rust and the Designer paper is Apple Cider from the Holiday Minicatalog.  I love that the Designer papers are double sided – just flip it over for a whole new look.

After lovin’ the Apple Cider paper from the previous card, I tried it here in 4 different ways – stripes horizontal, a strip of stripes vertical, a scallop punched piece, a circle piece.  The card is Wild Wasabi.  The only stamped image is the greeting from Holidays&Wishes.
